DESCRIPTION:Info Session Link \nNow’s the time to consider your extracurricular activities for the 2025-2026 year. Apply to the ASME Leadership\, Education\, And Development (L.E.A.D.) program offered by the Petroleum Division! \nWho should apply?\nStudent Engineers! Preference is given to mechanical engineers\, but we will also accept applications from Petroleum\, Chemical\, and Electrical engineers. Ideally students will have completed their freshman year of college and completed an engineering course or two. We accept applications from Sophomore through PhD level students. Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis. \nEach program cycle is a 7-month time commitment that includes two face-to-face meetings\, monthly zoom calls with your teams\, and virtual learning opportunities between our 2 annual meetings. One meeting in the Fall (Oct/Nov)\, one meeting in April. The meetings are organized to run like business meetings with experienced speakers\, offsite industry tours\, team building\, a semester project\, and peer/mentor networking opportunities.
