2024-2025 Indiana SMRP Scholarship

The Indiana Chapter of the Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP-Indiana) values the importance of higher education and therefore strives to create opportunities for students in engineering, maintenance, and reliability-related
concentrations by providing financial assistance in the form of a scholarship for qualified individuals. To meet this need, the SMRP-Indiana Board of Directors has authorized a $1000 scholarship to a student currently enrolled in a maintenance, reliability, or engineering degree in the State of Indiana. If the applicant is not attending an Indiana school then they must be a resident of Indiana. Scholarship applicants are judged based on course work and extracurricular activities, including work experience and leadership activities, related to the fields of engineering, reliability and maintenance, the letter of recommendation, and the applicant’s essay. Recipients will receive scholarship money via a deposit at the Financial Aid Office of their university, for the use of purchasing books and supplies, covering lab fees and tuition expenses.
