Center for Career Opportunities (CCO)

As a reminder, the CCO is Purdue’s centralized career services office. We are in the STT building in Suite 125 as a part of the Career and Experience Collaboration Hub. Course:  ME 58100 (Numerical Methods in Mechanical Engineering, 3 cr) Course number:  CRN 28700 Timing:  9:00 – 10:15 AM, TuTh  (Fa25 semester) Location:  ET 302 (Indianapolis) Instructor:  Prof. Carlos Larriba-Andaluz Description:  The solution of problems arising in mechanical engineering using numerical methods. Topics include nonlinear algebraic equations, sets of linear algebraic equations, eigenvalue problems, interpolation, curve fitting, ordinary differential equations, and partial differential equations. Applications include fluid mechanics, gas dynamics, heat and mass transfer, thermodynamics, vibrations, automatic control systems, kinematics, and design.
