The Athletics Department Needs ME Tutors!

We are looking to hire 2-3 students that would be willing to tutor here in athletics in the fall. Looking for all ME courses, but we use a lot of mid to upper level courses. They must have already taken the course and received a B+ or better. We also require that they have an overall GPA of 3.0 or better. We do hire both undergrad and grad students. Inaugural Starkey Award Reception

Mark your calendars! Tuesday, April 30 at 4 pm we will be holding a recognition reception for all faculty & staff who have had significant achievements in the 2018-19 Academic Year. Also, the inaugural Starkey Award will be presented to the top senior. This event will take place in the Gatewood Atrium. Brief remarks will be made and refreshments will be served. 2019 Industrial Scholarship

This scholarship is presented to undergraduate and graduate students in any engineering major who display exceptional work ethic and promise in the field of engineering.  In the past, scholarship awards have ranged from five hundred to two thousand dollars. Once the scholarships have been awarded, scholarship recipients will be invited to enjoy a complimentary banquet along with the representatives from the companies that sponsored their scholarship and scholarship judges. BIOL 396 – Premedical Planning Seminar

This course is designed for sophomore and junior students who are planning to attend medical school. The course offers information and advice on the MCAT, the application process, the personal statement, the interview, and letters of recommendation. Students in the course will also formulate an alternative career plan. The course meets the first 10 weeks of the semester. Typically offered Spring.
