Communicating technology – especially simulation technology – is difficult. To this end, Dassault Systèmes SIMULIA is trying something different this year: the Reveal the World experiential trailer simulation-on-wheels tour.
We have arranged with Prof. Byron Pipes and the Indiana Manufacturing Institute (1105 Challenger Ave. – north of Kalberer on Yeager) to have the tour stop in W. Lafayette on Wednesday and Thursday Sept. 25-26. It will be open from 10AM-3PM at the back of the building.
Everyone is welcome – students, faculty, and technical staff. While the location will require driving for most, it will be a well-spent hour exploring simulation through AR/VR, Hololens, zSpace, and mini-Cave covering Structures, Fluids, and Electromagnetic simulation plus a driving simulator and other hands-on interactive modules. Students can explore the exhibits, meet the SIMULIA tour staff, and drop off a resume if they’d like.
