LUH Summer Research Program

Spend a summer researching in Germany with the Leibniz University Hannover- Summer Science and Engineering Projects Study Abroad Program!

Highlights include:

  • Full-time project placements with close faculty supervision in research facilities at Leibniz University Hannover, one of the TU 9.
  • No knowledge of German required, but for those looking to develop their language skills, Hannover’s dialect is especially learner-friendly.
  • An organized program of professional, cultural, and social experiences, including an orientation week, field trips, company visits, and group activities.
  • A local Study Buddy who will meet you on arrival, help you settle in, and answer questions that arise during your stay.
  • Housing in a single dorm room, local insurance, and free regional public transportation.
  • The opportunity to experience German life in Hannover, known as a “Green City” and “City of Short Distances” – a great home base for exploring near and far in your free time.

Participants in this exchange program pay their regular Purdue tuition for the summer term plus a program fee.  Purdue Moves Scholarships are available to eligible participants.
