On behalf of the Master of Science in Law (MSL) Program at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, I’d like to invite Purdue University students to join us for an upcoming information session/open house event, held over Zoom, on Friday, May 8, 2020 from 4:30 – 7:00 PM CT.
The Information Session runs from 4:30 – 5:30 PM CT. It will include an overview of the Master of Science in Law program, during which program staff and current students will be on hand to describe the MSL curriculum and the student experience in the program. The Open House part of the event runs from 5:30 – 7:00 PM CT, and includes our annual MSL Symposium, which is a showcase of student work in the MSL program. The Symposium – “At the Intersection: STEM, Law, Business, and the MSL” – highlights the importance of cross-disciplinary awareness at the intersection of STEM, law, and business, the type of thinking that is at the heart of the Master of Science in Law program. For more details about the Symposium, check out our Symposium webpage.
These two combined events – the Info Session and the Open House/Symposium – provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the unique MSL program, which is an interdisciplinary degree designed especially for STEM students and professionals. The MSL program focuses on business and entrepreneurship, intellectual property and patent design, regulatory analysis and strategy, and also skills development – oral and written communication, quantitative skills, negotiations, etc. Students can complete the full-time program in nine months, or the part-time program (via either the residential or online format) in two to four years. For more information, please review our program website and our MSL 360 blog.
