Workforce Recruitment Program

Each year, Purdue University participates in the US Federal government’s “Workforce Recruitment Program,” which is an annual program to encourage disabled current students and alumni to apply for paid internships and fulltime positions with various Federal government agencies (and some private employers.) https://www.wrp.gov/wrp?id=student_landing_page This year, the Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) and the Disability Resource Center (DRC) are co-coordinating the WRP on Purdue’s campus.

To be eligible to participate in the WRP, individuals must be current students or recent alumni (graduated after April 2019), U.S. citizens (Green Card holders not eligible), and have a disability.

There is no cost to participate in this program and all disciplines and degree-levels are encouraged to apply.

The WRP (and CCO and DRC) strives to maintain the strictest confidentiality about the students who choose to participate in this program.

The first info-session is scheduled for Monday, September 20 at 4:00 p.m. (register here: https://bit.ly/WRP_Sept20_Workshop) and the second info-session is scheduled for Tuesday, September 28 at 4:00 p.m. (register here: https://bit.ly/WRP_Sept28_Workshop).
