Hello Students,

Are you seeking a hands-on experience that can lead to a rewarding career path? What about an opportunity to earn a paid internship at a national laboratory? Compete in JUMP into STEM and explore building science.

JUMP into STEM is a nationwide competition open to U.S. undergraduate and graduate students across a variety of majors that challenges the next generation of building scientists to help solve the industry’s most pressing issues. This year’s challenge topics are:

·        It’s Electric

·        Curb Your Carbon

·        Sustainable and Resilient

Winners and runners up are awarded for each of the three challenges. Interested and eligible finalists will present solutions during the Final Competition at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado this January and compete for a 10-week paid, 2023 summer internship at NREL, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, or the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

Check out for more information, submission guidance, and reference materials. Challenges close Nov. 11! Good luck!
