Complex systems face challenges both in mathematical modeling and philosophical foundations. From a general perspective, the study of complex systems represents a set of approaches to science that assess how relationships between parts give rise to the collective behaviors of a system, and also how the system interacts and develops relationships with its environment. In this course, you will bring your own data (for instance, data related to your research interests) and you will learn how to analyze/interpret the data from a complex systems point of view.
