In Fall 2020 CS will pilot a Data Engineering in Python course – CS 19000DEP.  The course description is below. The course introduces students to programming fundamentals in Python and provides an introduction to data engineering including  working with common data formats and learning the basics of data wrangling. Title: Combined Heating and Cooling for Agricultural Applications Abstract: The project is sponsored by Engineers Without Borders USA (EWB-USA) as part of the chill challenge (https://www.ewb-usa.org/chill-challenge/) to provide affordable, off-grid refrigeration. This research will examine the potential for using a combined heating and cooling vapor compression system to produce ice and to dry crops. We have some updates on SLC Language Placement Testing: Today we are pleased to roll out a fully-online SLC Language Placement Test.
