AAE students are starting a design team to compete in the FAA Smart Technology Competition. This competition focuses on using technology to improve the airport environment and the overall traveling experience. This competition is open to graduate and undergraduate students from any discipline.  We are looking for 8-10 students. The IDSI will be hosting a monthly networking event (Coffee Klatch) on Oct 16 at 3:30 pm, POTR 234. We will highlight ‘Data Science Consulting Service (DSCS)’. A group of AAE Students are developing a “virtual, interactive, and educational tool” to expedite the design of small-sized aircraft while also allowing for the generation of a larger number of ideas that meet a user’s specific mission + payload objectives. They are looking for other students from ME that might be interested in helping with this multidisciplinary endeavor.
