SURF Updates

The Engineering Undergraduate Research Office (EURO) would like to update you on the new timeline for SURF applications and priorities for the College. Here are some changes to SURF 2020: Participation no longer restricted to junior standing students.  Starting 2020 application cycle, EURO will have mechanisms to prepare students to engage in research by going through a basic competency program (Pre-SURF) in the Spring or Fall.  New application window will open December 15, 2019 – February 1, 2020 for students to apply.  Faculty evaluations will be ongoing through end of… Read more SURF Updates

NRO Overview Presentation by Byron Knight, Chief Scientist, National Reconnaissance Office (NRO)

The Office of the Executive Vice President for Research (EVPRP) is hosting Dr. Byron Knight, Chief Scientist, National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), on campus next Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Dr. Knight will present a general overview of the NRO from 10:15-11:15am in the Wilmeth Active Learning Center (WALC), Room 3090.
